Rona Borre founded tech staffing firm Instant Alliance, formerly Instant Technology, from her Chicago condo in 2001. She is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago, the Young Presidents’ Organization and The Chicago Network.
“When I started out…I sat in a metal folding chair I bought at Bed Bath & Beyond, and it was in the second bedroom of my condo in the city,” she said in a Blue Sky article. “I woke up every single day and I put on a suit. It really put me in the mind frame that when I was talking to customers, I had a professional image, and I was there to work.”
Borre received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona.
