Jane Gilligan Hamner is co-founder of ARA Mentors, a women-in-tech support group whose initials stand for attract, retain and advance. She also is vice president of business development at recruitment consultancy Harvey Nash USA.
Hamner has more than 19 years experience in IT services. She joined Harvey Nash in 2007 and was previously vice president of sales at IT staffing company TransTech. Before this role she spent 14 years at Spherion Technology as vice president, where she was responsible for sales, financial and operational management of a $120 million region.
Hamner holds a BA in business management from Salve Regina University. She is active in several organizations, including the Technology Leaders Association, Illinois Information Technology Association, and Women in Technology International. She was recently named to Techweek Chicago’s Techweek100 list along with fellow ARA co-founders Megan McCann and Leslie Vickrey.
