Peter Wilkins is an entrepreneur, mentor and adviser who co-founded the social-impact education startup New Futuro.

“If you want to have scalable success, the Midwest is your play,” Wilkins told Blue Sky. “How do we harvest our information to keep our talent at home?”

Wilkins is managing director of Hyde Park Angels and he co-chaired the group’s digital media and technology group. Wilkins served as president of medical education technology company Primedia Healthcare, which was acquired by The Chatham Institute.

Wilkins earned his bachelor’s in business from Indiana University and graduated from the University of Chicago Booth Executive Institute. He serves as a mentor at Techstars and Impact Engine and is an advisory board member at the University of Chicago Social Enterprise Initiative.
