Ana Dutra is the outgoing president and CEO of the Executives’ Club of Chicago, an organization and business forum for C-level executives. She resigned from her post in July 2018, but said she would stay in the job until her successor was hired, according to Crain’s Chicago Business. Dutra was a member of the board before being named president and CEO in September 2014.
Dutra, a Brazilian native, was the first Latina to serve in this position. She focused on bringing diversity to the club: “Being a Latina executive myself — I was not born and raised in this country — I’m very in tune with the need for integration and welcoming Latinos, African-Americans, Asians or just people with different thinking and backgrounds,” she told Blue Sky.
Previously, Dutra was CEO at Korn Ferry International.
Dutra holds an MBA from Kellogg and a Master’s of Economics from Pontificia Universidade do Rio de Janeiro. She is fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish and French. She also enjoys participating in triathlons in addition to practicing meditation and yoga. She lives in Northfield with her husband and their three daughters.
